Something personal about Me
Jeffrey B. Mathews, CPA, MBA

Just wanted to give you a few details about myself, my experience, my education, and why I do what I do. Of course as you know I am a Louisiana Certified Public Accountant. Let me tell you a few things you may or may not know.

I served six years in the Louisiana Army National Guard. During that time I pursued a college education from McNeese State University. I graduated twice. The first time was to recieve my Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, the second my Master's in Business Administration.

I began working in public accounting in 1997, the last two years of my initial accounting degree. I have also worked for a large publicly traded company in corporate / managerial accounting. I began my own practice in April of 2002. I had only one client, but knew what I wanted. I wanted to help business owners build the business of their dreams. I saw so many businesses that great ideas but could not bring them together. I pledged to change that.

Most importantly I have a passion for business. I love the "game" and always look to ways to do better in business, for both myself and my clients.

On a personal note I graduated from Sulphur High school and operate my business in Sulphur serving the greater Lake Charles area. I have live in Carlyss with my wife and four children.
